Waves transition from blue to green in this two-pass, split fountain 5" x 7" hand-pulled letterpress print. I could go into art-school details on how the fingerprint nature of each wave speaks to the sense of identity I find in water--but I won't. This is inspired by my love of being near, in, or on the water, how much I miss it, and how I hope to be back someday. This is made from a hand-carved linoleum block and hand-set vintage metal type. Printed on 100% cotton stock with a ca. 1957 letterpress. Signed and numbered. Limited edition of 49 prints. Shipped in envelope packaged with sturdy backing.
